I'm a husband, a father to 5 girls and 1 boy, and a grandpa to 16. I've been a computer/gadgets guy most of my life with a career spanning more than 25 years doing everything from desktop, application support, and system analyst and then computer programming in everything from Delphi, C#, VB, Perl and PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL
IIn the late 70s, as I was about to graduate high school, my parents bought our first computer from Radio Shack. It was a TI 99 equipped with a cassette tape recorder, so you could save the progress of games. The thing that I found interesting was that you could write basic programs and save them to the tape recorder for later playback. Thus began my love of programming and gadgets I figured out losing myself my time and worries in putting together some sort of logic puzzle was my thing, and I was hooked. Once I graduated from high school I went straight to work at ITI in Dexter, MI it was a factory job, but I needed the work, and it was good work with a great group of guys. I took a few programming courses and other community college courses over the next few years, while on the side I started running an OS/2 BBS and learning the OS/2 operating system and continued learning basic programming.
